APRLOG / Corrections log
Corrections log
Every content correction made after publication is recorded here. The reason is straightforward: a site that admits its mistakes in public is a site whose numbers are worth trusting.
Three entries from the build
| Date | Pages | What changed |
|---|---|---|
| 2026-08-23 | Review board / B1 | The first draft called these four rounds “Launchpool farming”. Checking the official announcements showed they are actually HODLer Airdrops — a retroactive snapshot mechanism, which works quite differently: there is nothing to subscribe to, and the qualifying window has already closed by the time the announcement appears. Wording corrected site-wide. |
| 2026-08-23 | Review board / B1 | The first draft planned a column for “advertised APR at the time”. On checking, the official announcements for these four rounds publish no estimated APR, and a retroactive snapshot cannot display one in advance. Rather than invent a figure by extrapolation, the column was dropped and the reason stated on the page. |
| 2026-08-23 | Review board / B1 | The “first listing day” basis for OPG was originally presented alongside the other three rounds. OPG's listing date (2026-05-22) actually precedes this round's qualifying window (from 2026-06-22) by over a month, so that basis does not apply to it. Now flagged separately in both the table and the text to prevent misreading. |
How we handle errors
- Data errors get fixed first. Figures, dates, status labels: corrected on discovery and logged here.
- Fixes leave a trace. Nothing is changed quietly and no entry is ever removed. This page only grows.
- The log says what was wrong, not just that something changed. “Updated” on its own carries no information.
- If a correction moves a conclusion, the prose moves too. Changing a number in a table while leaving analysis built on the old one would be worse than not correcting it.
Please tell us if you find an error
Everything here is reproducible: the official figures come from Binance's public pages and announcements, the prices from the public market-data endpoint's daily closes. If your arithmetic disagrees with ours, one of us is wrong and we would like to know which.
The usual sources of discrepancy are the day boundary (UTC versus local) and the trading pair (USDT versus something else). If it turns out to be our error, an entry goes on this page. Reach us via the contact page.
Data updates are not corrections
- Data update: moving the price snapshot to a newer date, or adding a newly completed campaign. These change the verification date printed on the page and are not logged here.
- Content correction: something was wrong, a basis was misapplied, or a conclusion needs revising. Those go on this page.
