About APRLOG and the author
APRLOG does one thing: it answers “what does holding this crypto actually pay?” with numbers you can check.
Why this site exists
The reason is narrow and specific. When an earn campaign opens, the headline APR is everywhere. When it closes, very little coverage goes back and works out what people actually received.
APRLOG keeps a ledger of the official figures that can be verified, lines them up against traded prices at stated dates, and publishes the arithmetic. The checkable record is the useful part; anything that cannot be verified is not presented as fact.
What this site covers, and what it does not
| Covered | Not covered |
|---|---|
| How a given earn mechanism actually works | Whether some coin will go up |
| What past campaigns really paid out | Whether you should buy an asset |
| The cost and risk structure of each product | Futures, liquidation, fee arithmetic |
| What you need in place to qualify | Which exchange is “best” |
| How to read the official numbers | Price forecasts and news commentary |
The subject boundary. Anything outside it we do not write about, because we would not write about it well.
About the author
Yu Zhou is a pen name, not a legal name. That is stated plainly here because inventing a résumé would be worse than admitting there isn't one.
The author is not a licensed financial professional. There is no institution behind this and no personal résumé offered as evidence. What the site can offer is narrower: sources, dated prices and published arithmetic that readers can check.
Articles are signed with the pen name Yu Zhou. There are no social accounts; credibility should rest on reproducible numbers and public corrections, not on an unverified persona.
How the data is handled
- Every platform figure is a dated snapshot. There is no scraper and no live endpoint anywhere on this site. When a page says “verified on such-and-such date”, someone checked it by hand on that date.
- If we cannot verify it, we leave it out. The review board covers four rounds because Binance's own page currently retains the key field for four rounds. Fewer entries beats guessed entries.
- We do not fix a status we cannot confirm. Whether a campaign is live or closed follows the official announcement; where we cannot confirm it from an official source, the page says “per the announcement” instead of picking one.
- We do not extrapolate an APR. Multiplying a few days of a one-off event by 365 produces a number this site will not print.
- When we get something wrong we fix it and log it. Everything goes in the corrections log.
How the site is funded
Through Binance referral commission. The APRLOG code is BN0112; when a reader opens an account through the link in the account-setup guide, Binance pays this site a commission out of its own fee revenue, which adds nothing to your costs.
The full account, including the biases this arrangement can introduce, is in the affiliate disclosure.
Language versions
This site exists in Simplified Chinese and English. The two are not translations of each other; each is written for its own readers. The data, the sources and the calculation rules are identical — both draw on the same snapshot. The Chinese version is at aprlog.com.
Things this site will not do
- No price predictions, no buy or sell recommendations.
- No referral links scattered through the articles. There is one per language, both inside the account-setup guide.
- No sign-up entry point in the navigation or the footer.
- No advertising, no profiling. Google Analytics is used only for aggregate visit counts; see the privacy notice.
